I have gotten bored of blogging. Lol. Pretty obvious huh, seeing when the last post was dated.

Anyway, for the month of February & March, it passed rather quickly. Not surprising though. Ever since i entered junior college, time flies. Literally. It's like, i felt that i didn't fully enjoy being a sixteen&seventeen year old. Well, i must say, a lot happened.

My life now revolves mainly around working at OCBC. It's become more of a routine to me. I wake up at 7.30am, shower, have breakfast and flip through the papers (so that i get a glimpse of what's happening around the world) and head off to Raffles Place. Without fail, the train to the city would be packed. And i mean really touching shoulders with the people around it. The worst thing that can happen is when someone who is perspiring so happen to stand with his/her back facing you. It's like, you can feel the body heat radiating out and making you feel all warm and sticky. It's terrible. Thank God most people alight at Orchard and so on. At least i wouldn't be squashed against someone all the way until Raffles Place.

The first week of the new year was really a hell of a week. Well, it was my first week working at ocbc. On the very first day of work, i was like terrified. Raffles Place can be really imtimidating especially when it's the first working day of the year. The place was really swarming with people. Anyway, work wasn't that bad. Met new people, which was really a good thing for me. We did soe manual labour for the first two days and the rest of the days was mainly dedicated for training. It was really difficult to grasp all the techinical terms. Like overdraft, FX, collateral etc. I was like huh???!!! when i first saw those words. Took me some time to get used to the terms. And of course, with the help of my mom. HAHAHA. Anyway, i am under the FI (financial institute) team. Not very sure what that means anyway, but basically, i would have loads of work to do, according to my trainer. We have our own tables too, which i think is a really cool thing. My mom told me to make it as comfy as possible. I guess i would be stocking the place up with food. Hah! My colleague was telling me to call it little verine's supermarker or something. Lol.

And i must say, the bubble tea from Koi Cafe is REALLY good. Though it may be more expensive than the usual bubble tea, and a smaller serving too, i say it's a must-try. The taste is really different. It's really easy to differentiate between the usualy kind from Sweet Talk and from Koi Cafe. It's of a much better quality. And the pearls do not stick to each other. Yup. That's what i heard.

Friday is Stationery Day. So it's like the staff will queue up to collect stationery from someone who would be giving it out. Pencils, pen, files, stapler, staple bullets etc. It's like bringing Popular to us instead of us going to Popular. Oh, and the plus point, it's free. Which means that we can take as many stationery as we want and just dump it on our desk. Yup. Pretty neat huh. I think so too :D

Ah, the second day of new year. I am paying adult fare. NO MORE FORTY FIVE CENTS OF BUS FARE/MRT FARE! I am really gonna miss those days where students get to enjoy the many privileges. Six dollar movie tickets at cathay theatres, student prices for meals at MacDonalds, Kfc etc. Low bus/train fares. Oh well. This is a stage in life where everyone has to face. It's only a matter of getting used to it or not.

Today was a relaxed day. (as Zac puts it) And i know no idea why, but it seems like there are sales everywhere. Zara, Pull and Bear, G2000 etc. You name it, they have it. Is it because of the new year or something? I guess when Chinese New Year comes, it's gonna be havoc everywhere. And not only at the clothing boutiques, but also at markets and not to mention, Chinatown. Hah! Back to today, bought a reasonably cheap top from Pull and Bear. They were having a sale! So i couldn't resist. Heh. Walked around town for almost an entire day. Chilled at Starbucks thereafter. It's probably gonna be a long time later before i ever go Starbucks again. Don't wanna drink coffee while working. I am starting work next Monday!

HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!

Time flies. It's 2010! And i must say, 2009 was one hell of a year. Many things happened, be it happy or sad. But, as they say, let bygones be bygones. We are unable to change the past anyway. So no point brooding over issues.

Anyway, i concluded that i have alcohol intolerance. I can drink like one cocktail and a Bacardi Breezer and i am getting warm, red and itchy skin all over. Well, it wasn't as bad compared to the time when i drunk almost half a can of beer. That time, it was seriously unbearable! Hopefully my skin would get better soon. I will allow myself to one drink at the very most in future :D

Note to self: I have lost it.

Sometimes, i am curious to know what really goes on in the minds of serial killers and all those criminals. As in, what really led them to commit these crimes? I do wonder, if they deem their actions as normal. I mean, honestly, when they are young, they probably would have been educated regarding carrying out such acts. Why would they then commit such crimes?

At times, i wonder if someone out there is creating this invention that could read people's minds. I know that it appears to be very silly and childish to think of that, but honestly, don't we all (at some point in life) would want to know what the other party is thinking? It could be a very quixotic quest, to create such an invention, but if something similar really did existed, we all probably would want to lay our hands on it.

And i would like to know, how do you define judgmental?

It just dawned on me that in two week's time, i am gonna start work.
Christmas is approaching! Well, Christmas Day to be exact. The festive mood has been around since God knows when. I'm thinking of getting some gifts for people, but i think it's kind of late now. Considering the fact that its four days from Christmas and i have no head start in doing stuffs. Neither do i have the financial capability to buy so many items at one go. So... Hahaha.

Anyway, gonna apply for driver's license later. I'm eighteen! Yes, since about two months and a few days ago. (Though i know i have the mind of a sixteen year old = immature) The thought of being able to sit behind the steering wheel and being in full control of the car is indeed exciting (and scary) Haha. All the best for me though :D

Today passed really quickly (well, at least to me) I was at Ikea at Tampines. My first time there ever since it opened. Yes, i know it was a really long time since it opened. Haha, it's okay to say that i have no life. Anyway, there were some really interesting stuffs that they sell. And i love some of the showrooms that they have there. I was thinking of getting a new bed since the one that i have now is almost as old as me. Hmm, actually, i'm thinking of revamping my entire room. Like re-paint the walls and maybe get a new bed frame and stuff like that. But of course, these thoughts will never materialize without money. At the moment, my family is really broke due to the recent US trip. So, it will not happen anytime soon. My study table like is piled with all my files and random stuffs that i bought. I am like too lazy to clear them and ever since A levels ended, i just chuck my files and let them pile up on my table. So there is like a huge mountain of papers on my table. Roar.

Okay. I suck. Big time.
I want to try something new.
